Polzeath
The bays of Daymer and Trebetherick provide fine bathing, sailing and surfing beaches, and the area is popular for walking with superb views. Polzeath could be called Betjeman country;

Polzeath was a favourite place of the poet the late Sir John Betjeman and extolled in his verse.
The poet is buried at the Church of St. Enodoc on the sand dunes
Wadebridge Tintagel

Wadebridge is of North Cornwall's main market towns and gateway to the Camel Trail, now the third largest attraction in the whole of Cornwall.

This centrally located town has much to offer visitors of all ages and interests all year round.

Nearby, the annual Royal Cornwall Show has its permanent showground.

Tintagel, is the legendary birthplace of King Arthur.

Set on the rugged and awe-inspiring North Cornwall Atlantic coast stands the remains of the 13th century castle.


Tintagel has an air of myth and mystery associated with King Arthur and Merlin the magician.

Port Isaac

Port Isaac, was a busy coastal port from the Middle Ages to the mid 19th. Century when it was an active harbour where cargoes like stone, coal, timber and pottery were loaded and unloaded. Fishing and fish-processing were also important and today there are still fishermen working from here although tourism plays an increasingly important role.

Most of the old centre of the village consists of 18th. and 19th. century cottages, many officially listed as of architectural or historic importance, along narrow alleys and 'opes' winding down steep hillsides.
